SKIN PREPARATION : 7 Steps for Skin Preparation

STEP 1 : Cleansing
Begin by washing your hands thoroughly.
Splash lukewarm water on your face to dampen the skin.
Apply a gentle cleanser suited for your skin type (dry, oily, combination) and massage it onto your face in circular motions for about 30 seconds to a minute.
Rinse off the cleanser with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
STEP 2 : Exfoliation (1-3 times a week)
Use a mild exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.
Apply the exfoliant in gentle circular motions, focusing on areas prone to dryness or congestion.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
STEP 3 : Toning
Apply a toner using a cotton pad or your fingertips.
Sweep it gently across your face and neck to remove any remaining impurities and balance the skin's pH levels.
STEP 4 : Serum Application
Apply a few drops of serum that addresses your skin concerns (e.g., hydration, brightening, anti-aging) onto your fingertips.
Gently pat or massage the serum onto your face and neck, allowing it to absorb fully.
STEP 5 : Eye Cream
Dab a small amount of eye cream or gel around the orbital bone using your ring finger, gently tapping until it's absorbed.
Be delicate as the skin around the eyes is thinner and more sensitive.
STEP 6 : Moisturizing
Select a suitable moisturizer for your skin type (gel, lotion, cream) and apply it evenly over your face and neck.
Massage in an upward motion to promote circulation and better absorption.
STEP 7 : Sunscreen (Morning Routine)
In the morning, finish your routine with sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher).
Apply it generously to your face, neck, and any exposed skin to protect against UV rays.
